Organisation & Time Management
Time management and organisation is an important skill and key to completing a dish or dishes successfully within the kitchen. One way of organising you time is using a table that lays out timing for each of the steps or tasks that you need to perform. It also tells you the equipment you need. Sometimes you can incorporate your entire recipe into the table. This table is what you can call your time plan. An example can be seen below. Time management is also assisted by organising all ingredients prior to beginning cook. This means doing your Mise en Plas. It can be the night before, 20 minutes prior, in fact it does not really matter when you do it as long as it is done prior to beginning cooking.
