Cooking Rice
Cooking times for rice will remain the same in each method. Each method yields a different results. Boling rice, has a greater chance of nutrient loss and less fluffy rice. Whereas the absorption and microwave methods retain nutrients and give fluffier rice.

Absorption
Gentle Boil

Absorption
- Place 1 cup (200 g) of rice in a saucepan. Add 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of cold water. Bring to boil. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer covered for 12-14 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stand, covered for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
Gentle Boil
- Place 1 cup (200 g) of rice in a saucepan. Add 6-8 cups of cold water. Bring to boil. Stir occasionally.
- Lower heat and boil gently, uncovered for 12-14 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Drain well and serve.
Microwave:
- Use the same water to rice ratio as the absorption method.
- However, as there are great variances between microwaves, refer to your microwave manual for instructions.
